This active optical cable can transfer data with 10Gbps speed for up to 40 meters, which is perfect for USB devices connection and USB extension. When connecting with the USB-C camera, it transfers 4K@30hz images in data format. 1W power can be delivered to connected device over the cable under 20 meters. Cables that are longer than 20 meters, connected devices should have external power. There is an optional Pigtail*, for the device to be powered 4.5W externally.

*Note: When using a Pigtail, the data transfer speed will decrease to 5Gbps.
